Today I went off on my own. I wanted to take the time to see all the hotsprings and geysers. I headed south from Madison Junction and drove along Firehole Canyon Drive. So cool!!

Today is a day for no particular activity. Jimmy's bike has a flat tire so we're going in search of repairs. The closest bike shop is in Bozeman so that's where we go.
On the way to Bozeman...
While waiting, I see the shop has a used Yamaha generator for sale. 22 minutes on the clock. I bought it for $1225. It has an extra three year warranty on it that goes until May 2019. Yay! Now I have a quiet generator. That's going to be real nice for camping.
While everyone else goes to IHOP to eat, I go to the REI that's in the same shopping complex. I found some stuff on sale and hope the dividend helps with the purchase of the kayak paddle I want.
We went back via the north entrance to Yellowstone, stopping on the way to check out some whitewater.
Went to Mammoth Hotsprings and hiked around it. What an amazing place! The water levels were a bit low but still amazing.
Drove back north toward the Tower Falls area. We were on a dirt road that was fantastic! It was Blacktail Plateau Drive. We stopped at a pullout to make sandwiches. As we were making them, a buffalo was eating on the hill below us. So cool.
We drove on and saw a moose. It laid down and we tried to get some pics of it.
I know it doesn't sound like much but what a great day it was!

We went dualsport riding in Targhee NF in Idaho. It was so beautiful and fun! I was so busy riding, I only got a few pictures.
